Getting to Nusa Lembongan

By Fast Boat from Sanur

The most common route is by fast boat from Sanur, on Bali’s south-east coast. The crossing typically takes around half an hour, depending on conditions and operator, and several companies run scheduled departures through the day.

Arriving on the Island

Depending on the operator and the tide, boats land either on the beach at Jungut Batu or at the island’s harbour. Both are close to Villa Kingfisher, and the villa’s team meets every guest on arrival to escort them and their luggage to the estate.

The Kingfisher Passage

For a fully coordinated journey, Villa Kingfisher offers an optional door-to-door transfer — the Kingfisher Passage — arranged from your location elsewhere in Bali or Lombok, across land and water, directly to the island. It can be arranged by email once a booking is confirmed.

Getting Around

The island is small and easily explored. Many visitors get around on foot, by bicycle or by scooter, and quiet lanes connect the beaches, viewpoints and the Yellow Bridge to Nusa Ceningan.

A private ocean-cliff estate on Nusa Lembongan

Villa Kingfisher is a private vacation rental villa set on an ocean cliff at Jungut Batu Beach, on the quiet side of Nusa Lembongan, Bali. The 784-square-metre estate is rented exclusively to one party at a time, so there are no shared spaces and no other guests.

The villa sleeps up to four adults across two equal master suites, each with a king-size bed and a private en-suite spa bathroom that opens onto greenery. At the centre of the estate is a 20-metre infinity pool that runs from the main terrace toward the sea, framed by an uninterrupted 270-degree view of the ocean and lagoon. The open-plan living pavilion is built in the traditional Javanese style, with hand-carved teak, natural stone and locally sourced materials, and a separate garden pavilion offers extra privacy for groups travelling together. Villa Kingfisher is an adults-only retreat, and every stay is supported by a dedicated villa manager and a local host.
